Family Christmas Train

On Wednesday, December 10th we went with my family to a Christmas train in Lindon. There is a man that my dad does a shift with at the Mt Timp Temple that runs a Christmas train through his and his families yards. It is completely free, you just have to be lucky enough to get a spot. He has to turn away thousands of people each year. It's just a very nice thing that he and his family do as a service. It must take him a LOT of time to get this set up! When you get there, you wait in his giant garage where he has Polar Express playing on this large projector screen.

Gavin was NOT excited to get on the train. Once it was going and he saw all the lights and displays he was fine.

Liam had a good time stuffed between Andrea and Chris on the train. See the cute little engine at the front.

Here's the family waiting to get on the train.

On the first leg of the trip it's decorated for Christmas and has a Polar Express theme.

We stopped at "Santa's Workshop" and saw Santa.

We still love Santa too.

Liam got to see Santa and asked for more cars....he already has WAY too many!!

Gavin wants NOTHING to do with Santa. This was as close as we could get for a visit with the big man.

We got to sing carols with Santa and his elves. Hear is a video clip of our awesome singing.

On the trip back from the North Pole there was a Life of Christ theme. It was beautiful and really helps you to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Here's a fun clip of the trip back from the North Pole. They had speakers in each train car that played Christmas music as we went. The songs went along with what you were seeing. So fun!!

Thanks to my dad for setting this up and getting us together. It was a wonderful time.

And their house and yard were incredible!!

Sounds so fun and I do love the "Life of Christ" Theme, if we ever get to the Christmas lights stage in life we might have to copy them.
