President Monson

Please forgive the horrible filming. I was trying to get the shot and help Liam get by to the end of the row so that he could see President Monson better. Melissa, Liam, my grandma Prestwich and I were sitting just a few rows back from the stage, but all the way to the side. At first we thought we had bad seats, but we then realized that we would be able to see all of the general authorities come in and out. Liam was so excited to be able to see the Prophet up close.

My dad, Andrea, Melissa, Jackie, Stephen, Stephen's mom, Grandma Prestwich, Liam, and I all went up to see the Pioneer Day concert with "The Osmonds" at the Conference Center. The trip was great and the choir was great and seeing President Monson was great, but the Osmonds - not that great.

24th of July at my dad's

My dad is lucky enough to live just above a neighborhood that puts on an incredible firework show every 24th of July. They have a huge party and loud music playing and we just enjoy the view. Even when there are no fireworks, he has a nice little view of the Mt. Timp Temple.

My family, Liam's friend Ben, Andrea and Chris, and my dad watched the firework show. Jackie and Stephen came over for a while, but had to leave before the show. It was a fun night.

Liam's Tennis Lessons

Liam and his best friend, Ben, have been taking tennis lessons at the park next to their school. Their teacher is in the background.

They just finished their 3rd session today and will start the next level next week. Liam can only do one more session because soccer will be starting (actually practice has already started).

Gavin had fun playing at the park while we waited for Liam.

Liam at Disneyland

I got an e-mail today with this picture of Liam. He's having a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to him coming home tonight.

4th of July Parade in Provo

Look how happy everyone is to be up early and at the 4th of July parade.

At least we didn't have to get up as early as Andrea and Melissa. They did the 5K before the parade. Andrea stayed and watched with us, but Melissa had to head home to take care of her kids.

Liam had fun watching what was on its way.

Gavin actually seemed to like this parade better than the one in Orem last month. Maybe it was because this time he wasn't tired.

Since Gavin woke up so late we had to hurry and do breakfast at the parade. At least I was able to find a spot yesterday so that we didn't have to stress this morning. People are crazy and this place is PACKED.
